Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route issues
- Secure cargo properly and handle loading/unloading operations when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Strong navigation skills and experience with mountainous terrain driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents or serious moving violations in the past 3 years
