Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough safety inspections to ensure the vehicle is in peak condition before and after every shift.
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Cargo Handling: Secure cargo properly and monitor load conditions throughout the transit to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all necessary logs, delivery receipts, and trip sheets in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by arriving on time and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and dispatchers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL: Must hold a current, valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience is preferred.
- CDL Endorsements: Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a plus but not required for all positions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a DOT physical and provide a valid medical card.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
