Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with precision and timeliness
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (ELD) and paperwork documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load coordination
- Represent NYC Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC metro area and Northeast corridor
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend work as needed
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
