Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver goods to customers in and around the San Diego area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Eld) and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
