Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations in the Northeast corridor.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA safety regulations.
- Manage cargo loading, securing, and unloading with precision to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and route plans.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored entry-level training programs.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
