Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading operations at client facilities
- Build long-term relationships with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and delivery timing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight routes
