Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over assigned routes in and around Denver, CO.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if necessary.
