Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading operations.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time performance.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle handling.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
