Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction with service.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Keep the vehicle and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored CDL training if applicable.
