Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight to and from designated locations.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS).
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during loading and unloading.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
