Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and long distances as needed.
