Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper tie-down techniques and cargo securement methods.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately to ensure 100% DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.
