Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Florida and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using electronic systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Complete post-trip inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southeastern US routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for digital log management
