Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations in the Detroit area and beyond.
- Complete all necessary pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inspections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (Preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
