Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on assigned routes within Ohio and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Document delivery details accurately using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record and vehicle appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen check.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to a strict schedule.
