Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to and from Columbus, OH and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
