Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and legal manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securement.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and required paperwork.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
- Clean driving record (MVR check).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor truck maintenance.
