Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all hours-of-service rules.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and operating hand and foot controls.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
