Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes with 100% no-touch freight
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and documentation accurately
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with minimal detention time
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch for route updates
- Deliver freight on time with zero preventable incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights weekly)
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Customer-focused communication abilities
