Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A and Class B commercial vehicles on regional routes throughout California and surrounding states.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques and securing devices (chains, straps, tarps).
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delivery updates.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.
- Willingness to cross state lines (AZ/NV regions preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
