Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using forklift certification
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
