Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery updates.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
