Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and tractor-trailers on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, electronic logging device (ELD) records, and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and state regulations.
