Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage cargo loading, securing, and unloading procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver qualification files.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean MVR with no major violations or DUIs in the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
