Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local and regional routes within the Austin metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and damage prevention.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, electronic records (EOBR), and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
