Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and protected.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logs (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic, or cargo issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck interior and exterior.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and adhere to a structured schedule.
