Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van) on regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight efficiently with minimal touch
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time commitments
- Report maintenance needs and vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area and Southeastern US
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
