Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes within DC, MD, and VA
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure freight and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DC metro area geography
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
