Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers in the Virginia Beach area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight accurately using appropriate equipment to ensure cargo safety.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a spotless driving record.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
