Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing items to prevent damage.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle documentation.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in route driving preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical capability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with San Francisco geography and traffic patterns is a plus.
