Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to commercial and residential addresses along a designated route.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring satisfaction with every delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload cargo, including using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, bills of lading, and mileage logs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Must possess a current, valid Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving History: Clean MVR with no more than one moving violation within the last three years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and endure long hours on the road.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use handheld electronic devices.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
