Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to complete assigned routes on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs when necessary.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of Austin, TX roadways and local geography.
