Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned night routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety protocols and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with HOS rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety policies, company procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must have a clean MVR (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate highway regulations and safety compliance.
- Must be able to operate manual transmission trucks.
