Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for long-haul freight delivery
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time load coordination
- Represent Global Logistics with professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR/long-haul experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong geographical knowledge of Southeast US
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight travel
