Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Secure and verify cargo according to DOT regulations
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong time management and communication skills
