Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Manage cargo efficiently, including loading, securing, and unloading freight.
- Complete daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR and ELD) in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight on time while providing excellent customer service to consignees.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety, drug-free workplace, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic understanding of HOS (Hours of Service) regulations.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays.
