Responsibilities
- Safely and legally operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and daily mileage records.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues to dispatch immediately.
- Represent the Prime Inc. brand professionally to customers at pickup and delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MVR) and DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
