Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and professional manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Complete daily logs and maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Uphold a positive company image and represent Swift Transportation professionally.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to enroll in our paid training program upon hire.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) before the start date.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must have a valid Social Security Card and legal right to work in the United States.
- Good manual dexterity and the physical ability to climb in and out of the cab.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
