Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles during night shifts to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required DOT documentation within regulatory limits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
- Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred.
