Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered on time to customers.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations or DUIs.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical examination on file.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual labor tasks.
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication.
