Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and logistics software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
