Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on all road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (Entry level candidates considered for qualified applicants).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR).
