Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and company protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
