Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently, securing all freight properly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cabin and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and routes.
- Keep accurate logs and records as required by federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- A current and clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
