Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53-foot commercial tractor-trailer in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
