Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
