Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route adherence to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and drug screening clearance.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and MVR review.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
