Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicle safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
