Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Ensure the cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered in pristine condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Entry-level experience is considered; we are willing to train the right candidate.
