Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely transport and deliver goods to customers in Memphis, TN, and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
